Learn basic electronics, programming, schematics and troubleshooting by making your own robot. After gaining familiarity and fluency with basic circuits, we will add sensors, program Arduino and personalize our robots by adding lights, music or battle-bot components. Materials list and fees will be provided on the first day of class (2.5 credits).
The purpose of the course is to prepare students to communicate effectively in Spanish and to be aware of the cultural influences of the Spanish and Latin-x heritage at home and abroad. As part of the course, students will be provided opportunities to read, write, listen, and speak Spanish while they work towards becoming linguistically and culturally literate (10 Credits).
Students will use blue line pencils, multi-liners, lightboxes and many other tools of the trade to create a comic. Lessons include sequential storytelling, anatomy, inking, emotions, backgrounds, character creation and more, requests are always welcome if time permits. Each class will include an interactive lecture, and lab time. Depending on skill level and interest students may have the opportunity to digitize their comics and present them online.
